Job Description

We are looking for an experienced ServiceMax consultant/developer for a manufacturing company located 30 minutes from the center of Brussels. The company is currently using ServiceMax "Core" to manage its field service operations, however the tool was tailored for the mother company and not for the needs of the Belgian Market, thus current user-experience is not adequate.
Some of the challenges that need to be addressed are the following:

- Spare parts are not ordered directly through ServiceMax, once the need is identified at customer’s premises. Spare parts should be ordered through the mobile app and update the ERP accordingly Large Customers would like to order spares themselves, so the company aims to provide self-serving capabilities to the customers in the medium term.

ORDER STATUS: Customers and technicians would like to have better visibility on service order status. The goal is to have an estimated lead time that takes into consideration spares availability as well.

PLANNING: service appointment planning is currently done in Access/Excel, since the dispatchers do not feel confident in doing so within ServiceMax. The general complain is that scheduling in ServiceMax is not found user-friendly, so the company would like to see if the user interface can be improved

REPORTING AND ANALYTICS: for certain metrics, the company uses a BI tool, however if service metrics were directly available on ServiceMax (ie, first time resolution rate, Mean Time To Repair, etc), this would be a preferred option by the users.

MAINTENANCE CONTRACT MANAGEMENT: missing in the current ServiceMax deployment, but found important.

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE: the company would like to pre-plan service appointments based on asset usage and elapsed time, and pre-order spares accordingly.

INTEGRATION: the company aims to have a better integration between its ERP (SAP) and ServiceMax.

We need a senior consultant capable of configuring/customising ServiceMax. You will be coupled with a business/functional analyst provided by our client.

Fluent English is required. Dutch Speaker is a benefit.
Remote work is allowed, but the client would prefer the availability on site for specific workshops.
