We are seeking an experienced SAP BA ECC Accounts Payable (AP) Consultant to support a major transformation initiative within a global SAP landscape. This is a freelance, fully remote role, open to consultants based in Europe and able to work within EMEA time zones.
In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert in SAP ECC Accounts Payable, contributing to delivery activities across a complex SAP environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, taking ownership of your area, ensuring high-quality outcomes, and helping to safeguard project timelines. The position requires a consultant who is comfortable working autonomously while remaining a collaborative and reliable team player.
The ideal consultant will bring deep, hands-on expertise in SAP ECC Accounts Payable, combined with a proactive and analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills. You should be confident managing your own workload, identifying risks and issues early, and supporting delivery in a structured and disciplined way. Strong communication skills are essential, with fluent English required for both written and spoken interaction.
You should have practical experience working in Agile delivery environments, including epics, user stories, and sprints, as well as hands-on experience using JIRA to manage and track work.
Experience gained on large-scale global enterprise programmes, within MedTech or other regulated industries, or in complex SAP transformation environments would be considered a strong advantage.
